Responsible for growing the Danish market for NCC Stone Materials
As Country Manager Stone Materials DK, you have full financial responsibility and will report directly to the Head of Division Stone Materials, Business Area NCC Industry. You head a leadership team of 5, and you will step into an operational as well as a visionary leadership role. Your main success is to place NCC Stone Materials DK in a bigger context, to which you can create a long- and short-term strategy and ensure execution that builds revenue and creates a long-term sustainable business.
It will be your responsibility to lead the leadership team with a focus on providing direction to the business, attaining all plans, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring legislative compliance. Simultaneously, your focus will be on organizational development to promote a positive and motivating work environment and take ownership of all NCC Industry matters across assigned areas,
Besides the people management part of the position, one of your ultimate responsibilities is to provide direction to the business and to grow the top and bottom-line revenues. You will do so by providing ongoing strategic and tactical direction to operational delivery based on market intel and understanding to meet business plan goals.
Likewise, you will create, implement, and execute on commercial strategy. Driving sales efficiency through clear targets and KPIs is a crucial part as well. Establishing and maintaining relations with private and public stakeholders by representing NCC will also be on your agenda.
As such, you will work with top management and Scandinavian peers to improve delivery performance and maximize opportunities as well as participate in strategic discussions to ensure future growth.
Proven track record and strong leadership skills
You have a proven and successful track record from a similar management position, or another Director position with an equivalent commercial responsibility. Your experience comes from a large international player within industrial manufacturing or similar industry. You hold a relevant degree, preferably within the engineering, economics, or sales/marketing.
The position requires an action-oriented mindset, a ‘can-do’ attitude combined with a result focus, drive, and ambition, which entails a short distance from words to actions and results.
Furthermore, your leadership style is characterized by a motivating, involving, and understanding approach, which enables you to attract, develop and retain an industry leading winning team. A strong performance culture aligned with the company values is natural for you as well. You are a team player, and you work through your organization with a hands-on approach to leadership.
You are a solid and trustworthy communicator with good interpersonal skills and a relationship-building character. This gives you the ability to convey ideas into specific actions and secure understanding and support from both business partners and your own team.
You are proficient in both English and one or more Nordic languages, and you have strong written and verbal presentation skills.
